Founded in 1961 in Zola Predosa, an industrial area of Bologna, the company has always been characterized by its ambitious and concrete spirit, which has proven to be successful.

Since 2002 OMSI has been part of the TWINS group, the number 1 in the world in the production of plastic components for seats, present in five continents.

PROJECTS MADE TO MEASURE

The OMSI team of professionals with engineering backgrounds develops customised projects tailored to specific needsand professionals with engineering experience undertakes collaborations with world-renowned Design House to guarantee products that are always in line with current regulations.

After studying the input data and sketching the productwe draw a 3D model and make a prototype to examine the design from a functional, technical and aesthetic point of view. Then we make the mould.

OMSI GREEN

OMSI has always made sustainable quality productsIts production processes are based on advanced environmentally friendly technologies and, in addition to the choice of sustainable materials, invests considerable funds and resources annually in the propylene and polyamide recycling.

We can remove old seating and start the recycling process consisting of the following steps:

  • washing the seating and separating the materials according to composition and technical properties
  • the materials were shredded
  • the composition of the resulting flakes was analysed
  • the flakes were sold to manufacturers
  • new objects were made from recycled plastic materials

This process is a concrete application of circular economyy.

OMSI realises its products on Italian territory and promotes MADE IN ITALY around the world. We make use of high quality raw materials to guarantee a finished product of the highest standard; for this reason, we only use ISO 9001:2015 certified suppliers.

Production takes place through the use of modern, state-of-the-art machineryusing both injection and blow moulding technology.

Our highly specialised staff is able to produce thousands of pieces per day, always guaranteeing a high standard of quality. We test the mechanical resistance of the products in order to obtain the truest possible test.

GLOBAL PRESENCE

Omsi seats are installed in the sports facilities (stadiums, arenas, auditoriums, swimming pools, etc.). and in the most prestigious public and private facilities in Italy and around the world.

Wherever our customers are located, for over 60 years we have been able to provide support directly or through our global network, present on 5 continents, to meet every need, both commercial and operational.
